Hi to everyone! Today I’m adding a small clip to my Instagram page where I show how to form a little cute rosebud with a detached chain stitch (lazy daisy) and then how to make the calyx with a grab stitch. This technique helps to create a neater stitch with a narrow tip and you are able to add the stem at the same time by twisting the needle and ribbon before making the straight stitch. Enjoy!

Good morning, I’d like to show you a piece by the talented embroiderer and artist from Houston in Texas.
Her name is Delaram Mowatt and we’ve known each other for quite a few years now and I’ve always admired her workmanship. Her art and the T-shirts that she makes are too beautiful. She has a natural touch with ribbon, and I love the texture that she creates so effortlessly.
